Our mission is to uplift vulnerable communities and promote sustainable development. Our Areas of focus is Education, Youth & women empowerment, Peace building, Leadership, Livelihoods & empowerment and Parenting.
At AFoSS, community development is at the heart of our mission. Deeply rooted in the Augustinian Spirituality of community life and Service to humanity, we empower local populations through Education, Sustainable livelihoods, and Peace building initiatives, fostering resilient and inclusive communities across South Sudan.
Our History
Augustinian Friends of South Sudan (AFoSS) was founded in 2025 by passionate Augustinian Friends in South Sudan after meeting with some Priests of the Order of St. Augustine.

Our leadership structure comprises of Board of Directors / Governing Body to Departmental Senior Management Team narrowing down to Operational Staff & Volunteers.
