Augustinian Friends of South Sudan (AFoSS) was founded in 2025 by passionate Augustinian Friends in South Sudan after meeting with some Priests of the Order of St. Augustine. With its headquarter in Juba, AFoSS is constituted according to the laws of South Sudan and registered under the Relief Rehabilitation Commission (RRC); Reg. No. 5092.

Founded with the vision of building hope and solidarity in one of the world’s challenged country, AFoSS draws inspiration from the spirit of Saint Augustine: seeking truth in love, building friendship, fostering compassion, and serving humanity with humility and dedication.
Rooted in the Augustinian values of community, service, and love of neighbor, AFoSS was formed to work towards uplifting vulnerable communities through holistic and inclusive programs that empower individuals to lead better lives.
